Our new home!

Well, some might say "it needs some work" or a "good deep clean"... And both are definitely true, but, more importantly we can now finally say it's OURS! After almost 4 months of trying to purchase this bank-owned foreclosure, we can finally call it home.

We fell in love with this 1939 Dutch Colonial for many reasons. Not so much the vinyl siding, the dated wood paneling, or the trees growing in the pool, but instead because it's got great bones and has an awesome location. We can (and will!) change lots of the cosmetics, but the most important thing in a home for us was to get something we could fix up ourselves. Since Joe is a Home Inspector and I'm an Interior Designer, so we feel pretty confident we can get this house looking good. Follow along with us as we restore this home!
